Girls are descending on Las Vegas, Nevada this weekend to throw down in the first female only, three division, bowl contest here in this great city! Beware, they will also be venturing around the town this weekend. You could be standing beside one of these riders and not even know.

Saturday at Area 702 in North Las Vegas they will gather for an amazing day packed full of fun and events for everyone.

11:00 am – Registration begins for workshop and all contest divisions
12:00 pm – GRO skateboard workshop
1:30 pm – Silly Grom Warm Up
1:45 pm – Silly Grom Contest
2:30 pm – Women Masters Warm Up
2:45 pm – Women Masters Contest
3:30 pm – Pro/Am Warm Up
3:45 pm – Pro/Am Contest
5:30 pm – Awards
6:00 pm – Musical performances by:
Murder Majesty, The Remedies, My Dying Heart

Workshop Information
Any female may join us and learn to ride before the contest on Saturday. Two things. First, you must have a waiver signed. If you are under 18 you will need a parent or guardian present to sign you up. Second, wear the right shoes. Skate shoes are the best, but if not, get as close as you can. NO SANDALS!

You can sign up that morning and we have boards and helmets you can borrow. Donations Welcome. Bring your friends and family and see you at Area 702.

Contest Information – Silly Grom Contest
Silly Girl Designs is throwing the Silly Grom Division for this event. You must be under 13 years of ages to enter this division. Register Saturday before 1 pm and there is a $25 registration fee. This is open to any girl that wants to show her skills in the bowl, even if you cannot drop in! Come and grow your experience of riding in skate events.

Contest Information – Women Masters Contest
There are many women of skateboarding that have left the events scene. GRO is calling you back. Masters are 30ish and older. If you are close to 30 and feel this division is more your style, you will have to pitch your case at registration. If you are too advanced you will have to ride Pro/Am. There is a $25 entry fee for the Masters Division and all entry fees from this division go to this division.

Masters is a 30 minute jam. There will not be prize money for top three, instead there will be cash for tricks and firsts in the bowl. Do something that makes the crowd cheer, or a trick called out, get cash, right there! That simple. Just fun.

Contest Information – Pro/Am Contest
The Pro/Am Division is the proving ground for talented and upcoming ladies of skateboarding. These are the ladies that are working to push their skill and the level of female action sports. Any age may enter this division for ranking and prize money!

There is a $35 entry fee for the Pro/Am division. Entry fees will go toward the Pro/Am prize purse and be matched up to a total purse of $1000 for this division.
