NEW YORK – On June 16th boarders strolled and rolled into Columbus Circle from every direction. Gathering for the noon start time of the Central Park Race. The information suggested remaining under the radar, but that was not going to happen with that many riders. And the number of girls who rode the race was high as well and GRO was there to capture some action!

Cami Best took the first place for the girls. She skated the whole route around Central Park in 25.01 Seconds. I believe it is around 6 miles. This is not her first time claiming this title. She was defending quite a streak of winning this event.

But everyone that skated experienced something great and all the girls there were so supportive of each other. Hope to see the number grow even more at the Broadway Bomb and next year. Can’t wait till then. Rumor has some pretty amazing girls gather to skate Central Park pretty regularly. Get you an update on that as soon as possible.
