The girls gathered again this year for the Oregon Trifecta, which has turned to a Unifecta this year. Hopefully seeing as 2012 marks the 10th Anniversary, we will see a rebirth to the event as a three day series. No matter to the girls though, they were there in force.

Heidi Newton and Nora Vasconcellos

For those who did make it, the one day was fun and packed with skaters. The girls had enough for two full heats with more numbers than we have seen in the past. Thanks to the addition of the Silly Crew topping out the mix.

Abby Zsarnay and Lizzie Armanto

The skaters at the concrete bowl events are a young bunch today. They have been working through WCS over the last five years. Let’s hope when X Games adds Park to the event, that it is this group of dedicated ladies that will represent the women.

Thank you to all the GRO Riders for being out there and great advocates for the evolution of the contests and the positive love of skating!

Thank you to all the riders, friends, family and companies that put in the effort to be there and vote for future events by being at the events!

Thank you to Oregon Trifecta, Sector Nine and all the other sponsors for keeping the event alive and including the ladies.

After all the Portland activities, Lizzie Armanto sits first in WCS Rankings, Julie Kindstrand in second and Nora Vasconcellos following third. There are still more points to be had as these top three battle it out.
