On Feb. 29, after the first day of competition of Fire Skateboard Championship in Volta Redonda, Skateboarding Federation of Rio de Janeiro will hold the awards ceremony “Sports Merit in 2010, which will include the champions of the state ranking personalities and more last year contributed to the evolution of the sport in Rio de Janeiro.

One of the award categories will be “Highlight of the Year”, where the champion is the winner of that poll is in the air in the portal www.penseskate.net for this category were given the professional skateboarder Marcello Gouvea, who last year was the Professional River that was the most prominent on the national scene and represented well the skate of Rio de Janeiro, Niterói The Bia Sodré highlight of Skate Female State; Mauricio Nava, newly professionalized in 2011, Humberto Perez, state champion in the Amateur category 1 ; Coin and Luke, 2 state champion in the Amateur who did a very good year, especially in all major competitions in which it participated.

The result of the poll will be officially announced at the ceremony, which should be attended by all the nominees for the “Highlight of the Year.”

The Fire Skateboard Championship is the first formalized by FASERJ this year, so counting points for the 2011 Ranking of the organization.
