I am the director of the California African American Museum. Great action shots.
We are doing an exhibition called “How We Roll”. It is about the cultural influences in the sports of surfing, rollerskating and skateboarding. We are particularly interested in finding out more about women in skateboarding and the extent to which there doesn’t seem to be too many women of color in the sport since Stephanie Person. Your pictures look amazing and I suspect there should be a sponsor or two in your future if you have more shots like these. In fact, we would love to mention in our exhibition about how the women are strong in the sport even if all of the commercial attention has not reched them yet. Would love your thoughts and if you have any clear strong pictures, we might try to include one in the exhibition about upcoming young skaters in the sport. I look forward to hearing from you. We don’t have all of the show imagery on our website yet, but I welcome you to look at http://www.caamuseum.org to understand the scope and range of the shows and subjects we do present.
My best,
