GRO took over Skatelab on Sunday for the We Gro Skateboarding Workshop & Session. The CASL contest was the same day so the park was packed. Ready, set, go.

There is a strong set of dedicated ladies here in California. Those girls we see week after week. Those are the committed leaders and we were happy to have many of them with us for the session. Stretches and introductions then street basics. Abby Zsarnay, Julie Westfall and Mellissa Spillman all helped out teaching. True future builders.

We skated flat ground for a while, then took over the mini ramp. The ramp was packed with ladies on both sides. Then we moved inside to the blue room and flooded that session with girls too. They were all coming up to me sharing their new skills. Stoked!
