Reflecting back on this Northeast Tour one lesson really stood out, the importance of pushing. Early on in the tour, we were heading out to skate with a local ripper and he said, he does not go skate, he pushes. Everyone skates, not everyone pushes. As the trip went on, it became apparent how many skaters, even good skaters cannot just push,

just travel through the streets. No matter how many bowl, mini ramp, street tricks you have, if you cannot go skate for miles through your town or city to explore and enjoy skateboarding, you are missing a very important part. So step away from your computer, grab your board, walk outside, throw down your board and just go ride a few miles. Just go push.
